Amigo Mobility International Honored as One of the 2014 “Michigan 50 Companies to Watch”

(Bridgeport, Mich.) – Amigo Mobility International has been recognized as one of the 2014 “Michigan 50 Companies to Watch,” an awards program presented by Michigan Celebrates Small Business. The company was honored at an awards ceremony during the tenth annual Michigan Celebrates Small Business event, May 6, 2014 in East Lansing, Mich.

Since Amigo Chairman & Founder Al Thieme invented the first mobility POV (power-operated vehicle)/scooter in 1968, Amigo has been a pioneer in the mobility industry. Amigo Mobility now serves a variety of markets by designing and manufacturing a complete line of power-operated vehicles/scooters and motorized shopping carts. In addition to personal use, Amigo’s innovative products can be found in grocery stores, zoos, libraries and other venues in more than 25 countries. All products are manufactured in Bridgeport, Mich. and shipped worldwide.
