After five decades of dedicated leadership at Amigo Mobility, Beth Thieme has officially stepped down from her role as president of the company on Aug. 29. She will continue her role as CEO on a part-time basis.
Amigo is proud to announce that on Sept. 1, Jordan Thieme took over as president to manage the day-to-day operations and continue the company’s legacy of innovation and customer-focused service.
“When I stepped into the role of president in March 2020, one of my top priorities was to ensure a smooth and thoughtful transition for the next generation of leadership at Amigo. Choosing my 50th anniversary with the company—Aug. 29, 2025—as the transition date gave our leadership team ample time to prepare and grow into their evolving roles,” Beth said. “Al and I are incredibly proud and pleased to share that our son, Jordan, will be stepping into the role of president with the full support of our leadership team. His passion, dedication, and vision make him the right person to lead Amigo into its next chapter. While Al and I will remain involved in the business, we’re also looking forward to taking more time to enjoy our community, spend time with friends, and make memories with our grandchildren.”
Jordan began his Amigo journey 15 years ago in production and has since risen through various leadership roles. Jordan also oversaw two building expansions, and the company’s workforce has nearly doubled since he started.

“I’m honored to step into this role and carry on my family’s legacy at Amigo. I’m excited for this new chapter and grateful for the incredible team we have here. Together, we’ll continue building innovative solutions that improve lives through mobility, while driving growth, strengthening our company, and caring for our customers like family,” Jordan said.
Also supporting Amigo’s continuation of growth is a strong leadership team comprised of: Gary Adams, director of sales; Mike LaBrake, director of customer service; Ryan Maher, director of finance and administration; Jennifer Thieme-Kehres, director of business development; and Bill Whitaker, director of operations.
With their decades of experience and shared vision for the company, Jordan and the leadership team are excited and committed to continuing Amigo’s mission of Improving Lives Through Mobility®.
